A singer and songwriter, Philippa has a background in performing arts and has worked on a number of different music projects over the years. These include female acappella group ‘Too Many Cooks’ (check out cacophany choir's myspace listed in her top friends for the recording of her song 'What is it for?') and duo ‘Two Colours Blue’, with Jackie Slade, with whom she made the album ‘Time will Tell’.
She has performed at many music venues and festivals, including Glastonbury and Greenbelt. And she's worked with other artists, composers and producers, singing on various recordings.
A few years back, Philippa spent some time writing songs (and meeting some incredible musicians from around the world) at the Banff Centre in Canada. She's been writing and gigging as a solo artist for a while now, and in the last few months started collaborating with fellow singer/songwriter Anna Crowley.
They're’re writing some new material together and putting harmonies on each other’s songs. A new solo EP is due for release in the Spring.
